I sincerely invite you to attend my therapeutic activity. This activity aims to help individuals with symptoms of shyness by using scenario-based role-playing to practice handling situations they fear daily. Through this practice, they can reduce or even overcome their shyness in specific situations.

Objective: Relieving shy and nervous emotions, Boosting self-confidence

Scenario: Face-to-Face Formal Job Interview in Vogue (1v3)

Position Applied For Graphic Designer

One Job applicant: You just need to be yourself. Try to show your true state as a job seeker.

Three Interviewers: Please remember the following instructions for the role-play activity: You will need to portray three different types of interviewers – friendly, serious, and stress-inducing – during the questioning phase. Reference questions will be provided, but please add your own understanding to the role-play in order to help everyone fully engage with the scenario.

Question examples: (Interviewers can ask whatever you want related to graphic design)

  1. Can you tell me about yourself?
  2. Why are you interested in this position?
  3. Why should we hire you? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  4. Can you describe your design process?
  5. Can you provide an example of a challenging project you worked on and how you handled it?
  6. How do you stay current with design trends?
  7. How do you handle feedback or criticism?
  8. What software and tools are you proficient in?
  9. How do you manage tight deadlines?
  10. Do you prefer working independently or as part of a team?

Interviewers can begin with common interview questions, such as “Can you tell me about yourself?”, “Why did you choose our company?”, and “What are your strengths and weaknesses?”. Depending on the role, you may also include more specialized questions. Additionally, you can create more challenging questions or scenarios, such as how to handle pressure, manage team conflicts, or respond to situations where the candidate doesn’t know the answer.

Note: The main focus of the interview is to identify the interviewees’ shy emotions and determine the interviewee’s ability to handle different types of questions, not to intentionally distress them. Start with a friendly interviewer asking a few simple questions to initially observe the interviewee’s reactions and discuss coping strategies. Then move on to the serious-style interviewer, and finally to the stress-inducing interviewer, with questions gradually becoming more difficult. It is suggested that each interviewer ask three questions.
